24 hours. No sleep. Non-stop Workouts. The human body challenging its limits.
All to raise funds for the 3rd Special Forces Group Warrior Fund.
This charitable organization provides support to Soldiers,
families and alumni of the most decorated Special Forces unit 2001-present.

 

Each year a group of select athletes and crazy fitness enthusiasts
embark upon this unique charity workout challenge at RedPoint CrossFit.

REDPOINT CROSSFIT 24-IN-24 CHALLENGE

Last year was RedPoint's second year hosting this 24-hour event.  3 teams completed the entire 24-In-24 Challenge, with dozens upon dozens more participating as volunteers, joining workouts, fundraising, making donations and more.

There are opportunities for athletes to go for the full 24-hours as a team or just join for one or more workouts

24 HOURS. NO SLEEP. WORKOUTS NON-STOP.

WODs (Workout of the Day) are known for their extremely challenging and often grueling nature.

A single WOD often leaves athletes lying on the floor gasping to catch their breath. Because we are supporting 3rd Special Forces Group, the WODS included in this event are especially challenging.  

Each HERO WOD is a specific workout designed to show remembrance and respect to many fallen heroes who were avid crossfitters. Each hour on the hour, a different HERO WOD will be announced and athletes will immediately perform it. Tasks can include a mix of sprinting, Olympic weightlifting,

indoor rowing, gymnastics, agility and sports accuracy skills and other high intensity sports activities

for a period of 10-45 minutes. 

Due to the technical complexity of movement and coordination required for many of the expected 24 workouts, as well as the overall high intensity throughout, this event is expected to prove quite extreme. Safety and athlete care are priorities and this greatly influences the design of the workouts. In addition, a high value is placed on variation and training outside, in the local environment. There will be scaled options available for the workouts and the event will be suitable for all fitness levels.
