Modular Structure Operations Associate

SSU is currently recruiting for two (2) Modular Structure Operations Associate to provide support to our various modular construction projects. These personnel will be responsible for all aspects of the construction process, tracking materials/orders, corresponding with vendors/clients, monitoring the construction timeline, monitoring the construction cost, etc.
Location(s): Fayetteville NC, OCONUS travel for Structure Installations
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance
Responsibilities and Duties:
Operate and care for construction equipment and machines
Help equipment operator and other skilled labor when necessary
Inventory construction materials
Load or unload construction materials
Put together and take apart temporary structures, such as scaffolding
Follow instructions from supervisors
Ready to learn on-the-job training when necessary
Track construction material / Order construction material
Conduct assembly and training at Fayetteville, NC prior to overseas shipment
Correspond with customers and clients
Monitor the construction timeline and cost
Evaluate diagrams and blueprints
Dissect customer requirements and assist with creating a solution to those requirements
Qualifications:
3-5 years of related experience in the construction/engineer field
Experience with project/program oversight
Must understand safety rules and tool/equipment instructions
Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks
Ability to work in all weather
Must be punctual and reliable
Proactive and goal oriented
Strong Teamwork and compatibility with other laborers and supervisors
Maintain professional appearance and demeanor while working on job sites
Strong verbal and communication skills
Strong detail orientation and excellent follow-through
Must possess a valid driver’s license and passport
Will be required to work on US Military bases and installations
