Organizational Placement: This position will be employed by Company Confidential to act as a full-time Program Manager to manage security training as well as specialized security and emergency medical services to the Principal, family members, friends, visitors and guests, associates and affiliated entities, and company employees, worldwide. The Program Manager will regularly work with all company departments. The Program Manager will from time to time take direction from the Chief Executive Officer. The Program Manager will work in direct contact from time to time with the Principal, family members, friends, visitors and guests, associates and affiliated entities; company employees; and others providing goods and services to the Principal.
Primary Purpose and Function:Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Special Programs, the Program Manager will have two main areas of focus: creating and managing organizational security training initiatives and leading and supervising members of the Special Programs teams during global security operations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Directly supervise agents and contractors assigned to special programs plans and training, carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws
Create and manage team members’ schedules and supervise/schedule training and deployment assignments for team members and contractors
Build and refine curriculum for internal training across multiple security teams responsible for protecting designated personnel and assets
Craft and lead all aspects of content and programming to support medical training programs, including all certification and continuing education courses
Provide direction in assessment of student learning, including evaluation of instructors
Evaluate and select textbooks, workbooks, manuals, etc. for program delivery
Maintain inventory of program equipment and supplies
Lead vendor relationships as assigned by Senior Manager, Special Programs, managing costs for the team in a reasonable manner
Develop, monitor, and maintain accurate course and training files
Plan, manage, and supervise team members and security operations in maritime/austere environments, and other areas as required
Create policies and procedures as needed to improve the operational capability of the Special Programs team
Provides recommendations concerning safety and security measures for Principal and team members
Monitors potential risks to Principal, team, and affiliates, and mitigates or escalates as necessary
Conducts liaison activities with outside agencies and organizations as required
Travel as needed (approximately 35%)

Other related duties as assigned and upon request
Minimum Qualifications: Experience, Skills, and Certifications:
5-10 years of operational security-related experience
2 years in a personal security role supporting high-profile individuals
A combination of the following:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
4 or more years in a branch of the armed services;
3 or more years supervising military, government or private protection specialists
Documented successful completion of the following trainings: Anti-terrorism tactics, surveillance skills, close quarters combat, amphibious tactics skills, and CPR/first aid
Experience developing and delivering medical training curriculum
Experience working with and safeguarding confidential information
Ability to communicate orally and in writing effectively with both technical and nontechnical team members
People management experience
Must have a BSIS guard card
Must have or be able to obtain a BSIS firearms permit
EMT-B or higher certification, or obtain it within 6 months of employment
Possess valid unrestricted driver’s license, adequate vehicle insurance coverage, and vehicle for use in performing job duties
Possess a current passport and able to travel as needed, both domestically and internationally
Strong water and swimming skills
Jet-ski / tender operator skills and ability
Able and willing to follow the dress and grooming policy
Experience working as a team player
Drug free; must pass a drug screening and submit to periodic screenings throughout employment
Able to pass an in-house training assessment
